Music Monday : French Songs Only !

Salut tout le monde !

Aujourd'hui j'ai décidé de participer pour la première fois... Okay okay I'm stopping now. Let's do that again *clears throat*, today I'm participating to a meme for the first time so I'm pretty excited for it.
Music Monday is a meme hosted by  Lauren from Always Me, the only thing you have to do is share the songs you love and link up with Lauren.
I decided to share some french songs I love (french singers are underrated).  Let's get started !

Chocolat, Lartiste ft Awa Imani

Everyone and I mean everyone in France knows this song. I absolutely love it and sometimes I sing it wihout even realizing it. It's the kind of song that get stuck inside your brain but instead of driving you crazy it makes you want to dance. I really like the music video too. It's simple and everyone seems to have a good time. It's very different from the american ones where we mostly see almost naked girls dancing around the singer.

Also, can we take a second to admire Awa Imani ? That woman is gorgeous !

Black M – French Kiss

Black M always manage to put a smile on my face with his songs. He's very popular here and... I don't really know what so say about him. He's great. He's also made a song called "Comme Moi" with Shakira, yes your heard me correctly, the one and only Shakira ! 

En Feu - Soprano

I've been listening to Soprano since I was little. His songs are beautiful and always have nice messages. He's an advocate for peace and love and it feels good to hear meaningful songs. 

Clown - Soprano

I love pretty much all of his songs but this is particularly meaningful. It's about wearing masks and pretending to be happy in front of people so I think everyone can relate to that.

J'en suis là - Slimane

Slimane won The Voice last year and I'm proud to say that I wanted him to win the very first time I heard him. His voice is so beautiful. He sings from his heart and I love that about him. His songs are melancolic and I'm aware that it's not for everyone. If you want something happier you can check this song :

La Famille ça va bien - Slimane

I love this song so much and look at his smile ! My heart melts everytime I see it.

Comme tous les soirs, Zaho

I don't really listen to Zaho but I like this song. The music video is beautiful, if you have some time you should definitely check it out !

Elle a – Keen'V

I'm not going to lie to you, Keen'V was originally known for his sex related songs. He was the french version of The Weeknd. When he was asked why he only sang those kind of songs he answered « because sex is good » and I immediately liked how he didn't apologize for who he was and what he wanted to do. The songs he's recently released are pretty good. They're not about sex anymore, they're actually very sweet.
